Release notes 1.2.7  (May 31st 2023)

New features for all registered users

  • QR code for downloading and printing the participation link: As a printout on bulletin boards or similar, this helps a lot with the “marketing”/acceptance of invitations/surveys
  • Added detail view for answers in desktop mode: Analogous to the mobile view, there is now also the possibility in desktop mode to get a list of participants sorted by answers via an “info icon”.

Changes / improvements

  •  Detail view for an answer in mobile view: We now sort by answer, i.e. first all participants with “Yes”, then “No”, etc.

Release notes 1.2.5   (March 21st 2023)

New features for all registered users

  •  The “?” – answer for “I don’t know yet” is now optional, i.e. admins can decide for themselves if this makes sense for their case or not
  • Fill empty answers with “No”: Admins now have the option to decide this optionally as well. Until now, kulibri has always left empty replies empty as well. In many cases this makes sense. In other cases, however, it makes sense to interpret an “Empty” as a “No”.
  • Email invitations: There is now a “placeholder concept” for the individual link we send out. This way admins can now design their invitation texts completely freely and insert the link where it suits them best.

Changes / improvements

  •  When sending replies, there is now a “thank you message”: this increases the comfort level of some participants that your reply has actually been sent away
  • Overall reply process in mobile view simplified (replyable, checkboxes enlarged, “bubbles” removed for comments when replying, etc.)
  • Removed all links in preview in edit mode for admins. These links caused confusion for some admins, because they were correctly not clickable at that moment, but were displayed that way.
  • Comments have now been disabled in “reply mode”: Some participants had thought that the comment could also belong to the reply and entered a comment at the same time. This is now prevented.
  • Reply options (appointment or text fields) are now created by admins right in the first panel. Some new admins were not sure what to expect and therefore cancelled before they even entered options.

Fixed bugs

  • Comments were not displayed at all in hidden polls under certain conditions
  • In Thunderbird the admin links were sometimes not interpreted as links
  • In events, it was sometimes not possible to close the response pop-up when called again.
  • The process for “Max number of votes” was optimized. Before, it was theoretically possible to exceed the max number if 2 participants sent their answers at the same moment.

New features for Premium User Status

  • Sub-Administration: Admins can now make other participants “sub-admins” with one click and thus better distribute the administrative work for larger queries

New features for all registered users

  • Participants can now answer with “I don’t know yet”. This was not an own answer so far and sometimes led to difficulties in interpreting “empty”
  • Sorting feature in participant lists

Changes / improvements

  • The way of responding in kulibri has been revised. Answers to date polls or general polls are now sent as a whole and not – as before – each answer separately.
  • For invitations via “Share public link”: If participants do not want to register at first (cancel the registration), they can now first review all information and then sign into the list via a new button

Fixed bugs

  • Spaces in email addresses (mostly due to copy&paste) are now allowed and will be dealt with by the system

  • Automated Reminders: Admins can now configure if kulibri should automatically remind participants of outstanding responses per email

Fixed bugs

  • Support for “all day options” across different time zones
  • Selection of background images for not logged in admins had some issues sometimes
  • Sort order in Excel exports of polls with more than 16 options
 

Release notes 1.2.0  (October 20th 2022)

New features for Premium User Status 

  • New Module “Tasks / ToDo Lists”: Admins can now optionally add a task area to their projects and events. Up to 10 tasks free for all

  • New module “Custom Designs and Logo”: Admins can now manage their own logos (and links) and align the design of their projects and events even more with their own brand.

  • Transfer contacts from projects: Admins can now copy and invite participants from previous projects with one click.

  • Premium users can now manage up to 50 background images

New features for all registered users

  • Expiration date is now also displayed in the dashboard
  • Comments are now exported with the Excel export

Changes/improvements

  • The mobile view has been fundamentally reworked to make navigation within the site easier
  • “Reply boxes” now show why a reply may not be possible.
  • Chat support for all users within our support times and capacities

Fixed bugs

  • Starting a project from the homepage now considers the respective language
  • With the Excel export there were sometimes problems if several admins triggered the export in the same millisecond.
  • Inviting contacts: The “already participates” function did not work correctly when used 2 times in the same panel
  • The “If it must be” icon moved the statistics view on mobile devices in some cases
 

Release notes 1.1.9 (August 13th 2022)

New features

  • New status field for the participant: Participants can now see at any time if they have answered everything or if something is still open
  • Comment names: The names of the commenters are now predefined by the participant name. This avoids abuse and simplifies the process. The comments are also updated when the participant name is changed.

Changes/improvements

  • New answer mode: the way participants give their answers has been changed from “check boxes” to a more understandable pop-up
  • Option “IF NEED BE” is now ON by default

Fixed bugs

  • Date selection: There were sorting issues when selecting days at the end of the month in specific situations
  • The answer option “If it must be” was not always displayed correctly in the statistics in the mobile view
 

Release notes 1.1.8 (July 15th 2022)

New features

  • Comments: Support for links. Long links (e.g. zoom left) shifted the layout. Links are now abbreviated
  • Language selection on login page
  • Copying of options: When copying projects you can now optionally copy the options as well

Changes/improvements

  • Invitation area revised and simplified
  • Toggles: On multiple customer requests we have changed the “Toggles” to standard green
  • Send messages to admin: streamlined and simplified

Fixed bugs

  • Email languages: Under certain circumstances, emails with mixed German and English texts could occur.
 

Release notes 1.1.7 (June 29th 2022)

New features

  • Times (hh:mm) for deadlines: Admins can now also set times for the expiration of deadlines
  • Disable admin notifications for new participants: Admins can now turn this default notification on or off per project
  • Language selection on the project page: kulibri determines the language of the survey pages based on the browser language. In some cases, however, this does not match the user’s preferences. Therefore there is now also a language selection on the project page.

Changes/improvements

  • Deadlines: Admins can now make changes after the deadlines have passed (not if the project has been closed as well)
  • Admin link is now also visible in the invitation section
 

Release notes 1.1.5 (May 9th 2022)

New features

  • Display of a legend for the answer symbols (for better comprehensibility for new participants)
  • Close project/survey: Admins can now close projects. Participants can see closed projects, but can no longer respond.
  • Set final option: Admins can now also select the final decision(s) made when closing projects. This will be highlighted to all participants
  • Disable admin notifications for new replies: Admins can now turn this default notification on or off per project
  • Response deadline support: Admins can now select a date after which participants will no longer be able to reply. This date is prominently displayed to participants above the reply panel

Changes/improvements

  • Longer entries in the free text fields for date options are now wrapped and not truncated
 

Release Notes 0.9.10 (March 11th 2022)

New Features

  • Notification of admins about new replies

  • Moving the participant modal windows in the mobile view now supported

  • Max Votes mode:

    • Now represents “x/y”, i.e. x YES out of Y possible YES.

    • When a “slot is full”, the column is highlighted in color

  • Mobile View: You can now switch between table view and single view on mobile devices

  • Admin invitation emails now include admin name in the sender. This serves to increase the participation rates (update: 22.3.)

  • The navigation elements are now offered as a separate menu below a certain screen width (update: 22.3.)

Changes/Improvements:

  • In hidden mode the number of YES is now displayed again
  • The landscape views on mobile devices have all been reworked
  • The invitation area has been split into link / email tabs

  • Already participating contacts are highlighted/disabled in the „select contacts panel“
  • Added trend icon in mobile view of a date or general poll: clicking on the trend icon will open the modal with all answers for this option

Changes/Improvements

  • Create Project as not logged-in user: Email Field is now type email (mobile friendly)

  • When using the public link multiple times with the same email address, system now routes the user to the same row every time. Admins can still create multiple rows for one email address though.
  • Send reminders: After submitting a message, kulibri will provide a success message
  • List of links in the invite panel is now sorted alphabetically by email
  • Participants can now also select „Don’t know yet“ (?) after they already answered an option

Fixed Bugs

  • Contacts with only a special character as a name were not displayed in the contact list and caused a failure of the „select contacts“ functionality in the invite section
  • Scroll behaviour for „Send reminders“ fixed in mobile view
  • Deletion of a participant now also deletes the corresponding link in the link list in the invite panel
  • Send reminders to admin himself: Link was wrong
  • Same version of kulibri Logo used in App and public website (Favicon)
  • Only 1 Vote Mode: Clicking on the first checkbox (YES) will now automatically set all other options to NO.
  • Adding a contact with an existing email address is now blocked
  • Event Invitation: Count for “going” on dashbaord had a calculation error
